Among the many site possibilities are Bald Rock in Sapphire Valley, secluded sites along the Nantahala Gorge, Cliffside Park Pavilion, Whiteside Mountain, and Sunset Rock overlooking Highlands. For those preferring an indoor setting there are many from which to choose, including the Inn at Half-Mile Farm, Old Edwards Inn, or Main Street Inn in Highlands . These sites have a staff to assist in wedding plans. Rustic or formal, there is variety in the majesty and magic of these mountains.

Regardless of the time of the year, there is always seasonal beauty in these ancient mountains. The area has much to offer including fine dining, lodging, and mountain activities such as hiking, horseback riding, river rafting, canoeing, rock-climbing or simply lingering by a lazy creek.
